We continued to be ignored by Mayor McLean who has allowed Chief Lee, who has a well-documented history of attacking and criminalizing Black Lives Matter protestors while working with white militias to intimidate and suppress antifascists messaging. We seek to send a message to Mayor McLean that she cannot disconnect herself from the violence perpetuated on our community. We will hold her to account. Mayor McLean insists on criminalizing otherwise nonviolent behavior. Mayor McLean continues to ignore decades of evidence to support defunding the police. Not to mention, that police should not be responding to houselessness.

Also, we demand answers for the murder of Thomas Andrew Bunde. We were denied footage upon request. The Mayor is disconnected and insists on leaving out the community. We put in a public records request and were denied footage. We will stay on top of this.
